JJ Abrams Gives Homage to 'Host' Monster in 'Cloverfield'? - An interesting (and unconfirmed) rumor hit our inbox moments ago claiming that JJ Abrams is maniacally obsessed with Magnolia Pictures' Korean monster movie The Host and that there are a few homages to it in Paramount Pictures' Cloverfield, which was produced by Abrams. I wouldn't be shocked if this was true... maybe we'll ask him if he let's press interview him for the release? Directed by Matt Reeves, the monster movie hits theaters January 18.
