Roger Avary Arrested On Suspicion of Manslaughter - Normally I stay far away from the Hollywood gossip BS but if there's one thing that grinds my gears it's drunk drivers. The Ventura County Star reported this evening that Academy Award-winning screenwriter Roger Avary (Silent Hill, Pulp Fiction, Beowulf) was arrested today on suspicion of manslaughter and felony driving under the influence after an automobile accident in Ojai in which another man was killed and Avary's wife was injured.
