Sundance 08 Review: Sean Ellis' 'The Broken'

Sundance 08 Review: Sean Ellis' 'The Broken' - Going into Sundance the one film I was looking forward to more than anything was Sean Ellis' psychological-thriller The Broken, which had it's world premiere this past week. Did it live up to expectations? The short answer is yes, but the finale sort of left a bad taste in my mouth, "If the finale wasnÂ't so (unfortunately) forced this could have been the film to beat, but the ending is so incredibly Â"out thereÂ" that itÂ's sure to piss off 99% of the people who see it – and my mother always told me that the last thing you want to do is leave on a bad note."
