'Spider Baby' Remake Gets Director, New Script - It's been on the remake block for years now, a new version of Spider Baby, which looked like it was never going to happen. I'm a huge fan of Sid Haig's debut, directed by Jack Hill, so I was pretty excited for the remake. Spider Baby is the first of its kind and is said to have inspired films like The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and House of 1000 Corpses. So why am I so disappointed? Read on and see why.
