'I Am Legend' Ending Reshot? That's What Warner Bros. Says! - Warner Bros. confirmed to CHUD that the ending was reshot fro the Will Smith starrer I Am Legend, which hits theaters December 14. What's not confirmed is what has been reshot. Their source tells them that the ending was redone, as the studio wasn't happy with the finale that director Francis Lawrence had. Robert Neville (Will Smith) is a brilliant scientist, but even he could not contain the terrible virus that was unstoppable, incurableÂ…and manmade. Somehow immune, Neville is now the last human survivor in what is left of New York CityÂ…and maybe the world.
