'Friday the 13th' Remake Casting Breakdown - We were the first to announce the remake of Friday the 13th, the first to reveal the director and now we've got a complete casting breakdown for you! The breakdown (obviously) contains major spoilers from Damian Shannon and Mark Swift's screenplay, so make sure you want to know the fate of some characters before you read on. The remake being helmed by Marcus Nispel (Texas Chainsaw Massacre) shoots February 11 in Austin, Texas. The remake will focus on Jason Voorhees -- who will wear the infamous mask and kill -- and keep the famous setting of Crystal Lake.
