'Joy Ride: End of the Road' Director Talks Potential Sequels - Last night B-D was on the set of Fox Home Video's upcoming Joy Ride: End of the Road in Vancouver, Canada, where we had the chance to talk to director Louis Morneau about even more sequels. We asked him about potential prequels and sequels where he responded, "Oh yes! There's always room for more!" Franchise development is no surprise at this point as every studio is scrambling to create new direct to video franchises. Watch for videos from set in 2008 and a teaser piece later this month. In the film four young adults (Melissa, Bobby, Kayla, Nik) on the road to a concert in Las Vegas take a lethal side trip -- and when their beater of a car breaks down, they make the fatal error of stealing a car belonging to depraved, homicidal, sadistic, maniacal, sociopathic trucker Rusty Nail. Watch for this sequel on home video October of 2008.
