Frontier(s) Director Begins Production on 'Vanikoro'

Frontier(s) Director Begins Production on 'Vanikoro' - One of the best horror films I saw this past year was Xavier Gens' Frontier(s) (review), which was pulled from this past weekend's Horrorfest for being too violent. The director has gained some serious steam since then as later this month his adaptation of Hitman hits theaters and now today word hit his next project. Moviehole.net reports that production is about to begin on Vanikoro, the film we first broke the news about here. ItÂ's a film about a group of shipwrecked guys on an island full of cannibals. We reported that they get there in a similar fashion to the Indianapolis S.S. and are picked off by sharks. Head over to BDTV for our exclusive video interview with Gens from this past September.
