Almost Human FX to Work on 'REC' Remake - Bloody-Disgusting has learned that the bad dudes over at Almost Human FX will be doing the special FX work on John and Drew Dowdle's upcoming remake of REC, which begins lensing later this year. Headed by Robert Hall, Almost Human just completed work on JT Petty's The Burrowers and will be working on the ongoing Terminator TV series. In the film, a downtown Los Angeles apartment building is quarantined after a mysterious deadly and highly contagious strain of rabies breaks out. A reporter and her cameraman are among those trapped inside.
