First Casting News For 'Joyride: End of the Road', Director! - Bloody-Disgusting learned that Nick Zano (What I Like About You) and Nicki Aycox (Dead Birds, Jeepers Creepers II, Supernatural) have joined the cast of Joyride: End of the Road, which begins lensing in Vancouver next week. Written by James Robert Johnston and Bennett Yellin, the film follows four young adults (Melissa, Bobby, Kayla, Nik) on the road to a concert in Las Vegas take a lethal side trip -- and when their beater of a car breaks down, they make the fatal error of stealing a car belonging to depraved, homicidal, sadistic, maniacal, sociopathic trucker Rusty Nail. The sequel to the JJ Abrams thriller is being produced by 20th Century Fox with Louis Morneau (Bats, Carnosaur 2) attached to direct.
