Schwarzenegger Might Appear In 'Terminator' Future

Schwarzenegger Might Appear In 'Terminator' Future - Arnold Schwarzenegger will NOT be back for the new Terminator movie, so reports The Sun, but we might see him in one of the future films. Producer Moritz Borman has revealed that Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins is set before the famous fighting machine has been built. Â"I can tell you this much — this is the story everybody has been waiting for. Namely, weÂ're in the future. The part of it where ArnoldÂ's character has not yet been built but is on the drawing board." But don't lose hope, Â"ItÂ's convenient that he hasnÂ't been built at this point of the story, as Arnold has more important things to do right now, but that doesnÂ't mean he might not re-appear later in the trilogy,Â" he said. McG is set to shoot the fourth film on April 15 in Budapest.

6-Disc Japanese 'Grindhouse' Specs Revealed

6-Disc Japanese 'Grindhouse' Specs Revealed - Coming March 6 to REGION 2 is the 6-disc DVD set of Grindhouse, which you'll have to import from Japan. From my experience this release will be better than the US release when it eventually hits stores, so this is probably the edition to invest in - even though it still looks disappointing. It looks as if many of the features have already been used, while other look like they were pulled from the EPK for the theatrical release of the film. BUT on disc five is the full theatrical cut that we're hoping includes the faux trailers. Read on for the specs.

B-D Review: 'Aliens vs Predator: Requiem' HORRIBLE CRAP

B-D Review: 'Aliens vs Predator: Requiem' HORRIBLE CRAP - I was excited, and ready for my holiday treat from 20th Century Fox... the redemption film for Paul W.S. Anderson's Alien vs Predator. Tonight I was left in shock, and still haven't gotten over how terrible Aliens vs Predator: Requiem was. Not only did I waste $47 (I took my family), but I have to go and edit my Top 10 Worst Films of 2007 list. Thanks. "After the abysmal AVP I figured nothing could be worse, so I was pretty pumped to give this one a chance. Unfortunately when the film was over I was perplexed at how terrible the film was... it's almost as if it was done on purpose. How can a movie be this bad - AGAIN?" Click the title above for the review and please, please, please save your money. Didn't our website look pretty (bad) the past couple days? I agree.

"CATACOMBS burned my eyes - maybe I should sue for damages? When you purchase or rent this movie you should have to sign a waiver stating you understand that the movie might kill brain cells, hurt your eyes or even (gulp) turn you off horror movies for good." In addition, for the holidays we've added a review for Anchor Bay's latest release of Silent Night, Deadly Night, which is probably the best anti-Christmas horror movie ever made. "Despite the reality of the films shortcomings, I really do love this sick and twisted flick. Now, whoÂ's the naughty one?" Click either title above for the reviews.

Horror Takes #1: 'I Am Legend' Pulls in $76.5 Million! - In the midst of all of that holiday garbage (Alvin and the Chipmunks, Golden Compass, Enchanted, The Perfect Holiday, Fred Claus, This Christmas and more) horror has proven that it's king of the world as Warner Bros. Pictures and their Will Smith starring post-apocalyptic thriller I Am Legend (review) took over the box office with an astounding estimated $76.5 million this weekend! If that's not cool enough, next week DreamWorks is releasing Sweeney Todd, so expect the top two slots to be horror! Only time will tell how 20th Century Fox's Aliens vs Predator: Requiem will do, but can you imagine horror taking over Christmas? That's all I want for the holidays... down with Santa and all of his reindeer.

UPDATE: Trailer For CG Resident Evil Movie 'Degeneration'

UPDATE: Trailer For CG Resident Evil Movie 'Degeneration' - Update: I was told this is just a fan-made trailer with old video game footage. I'm a little out of the loop when it comes to horror video games, so hopefully I'm correct when I say we've discovered the trailer for Sony Picture's CG animated Resident Evil movie entitled Degeneration, thanks to B-D reader 'Wolf'. Scheduled for release in the latter half of 2008, the toon, like the other "Resident Evil" pics, is based on a hit horror game that Shinji Mikami created and Capcom developed for the Sony PlayStation. In Japan it is known as "Biohazard: Degeneration." Read on for the trailer and drop me some comments to let me know if I'm correct or missing anything.

Has Universal Found The Wolfman's Love Interest?

Has Universal Found The Wolfman's Love Interest? - Today more casting news was announced for Mark Romanek's updating of the Universal classic The Wolfman. A trusted source tells CHUD that the role of Gwen - the Wolf Man's love interest - will be played by Emily Blunt (Wind Chill). In the 1941 original Gwen was a local Welsh girl who runs an antique shop. She sells Larry Talbot his famous silver cane. I've heard rumors that the Gwen in the 21st century version will be married to Larry's brother, making their love [gasp!] forbidden. Like the 1941 original that starred Lon Chaney Jr., new pic will be set in Victorian England. Benicio Del Toro will play a man who returns from America to his ancestral homeland, gets bitten by a werewolf and begins a hairy moonlight existence.

B-D Review: Will Smith Owns 'I Am Legend'

B-D Review: Will Smith Owns 'I Am Legend' - Today we added our official review for Warner Bros. Pictures' I Am Legend, which hits theaters everywhere (and IMAX) tomorrow. B-D stringer Lindsay Berg writes, "'Legend' is definitely worth the 100 minutes, but expect to be impressed by SmithÂ's acting ability to carry a huge movie solo, the alluring visual sets of a entirely unpopulated Manhattan, and a commendable amount of time mumbling Â"What the hell are you doing?Â" Â"Hurry the fuck-up!Â" and Â"Get the hell out of there!Â" than a strong beginning-to-end thriller."
